


Tara has been supporting individuals and families for over 27 years, offering a caring and down-to-earth approach to counselling. She works with clients facing a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, stress, separation and divorce, life transitions, parenting, elder care, self-esteem, grief, and the unique strengths and challenges of neurodivergence.
Tara holds a Master of Education in Counselling from the University of Manitoba and is a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. With a background in education and a deep commitment to meeting people where they’re at, Tara creates a supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to take the next steps in their lives.

Laura holds a Bachelor of Human Ecology with a specialization in Child and Adolescent Development, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in English and Psychology from the University of Manitoba. She has been with TNJ Counselling for over 15 years, managing day-to-day operations and supporting both the counsellor and clients with care and attention to detail.
As a Human Ecologist, Laura brings a unique perspective to her work—considering the interconnectedness of individuals, families, and their environments to help create a thoughtful, client-centered experience. Her training in human development and systems thinking informs everything she does, from intake to ongoing client support.
